Sub Vocal Theme Park
Tuesday 26 September 2006
Just rescued Sub Vocal Theme Park from an op shop. Wow. I don't think I'm going to be able to stop playing it now. Was really into 2020 so don't know why I didn't get this sooner, it's fantastic. Ten years late, but congratulations on a great album.

Joy Melbourne
Thursday 29 June 2006
Hello to you fabulous ones...
Just wanted to let you know that I've rencently been playing some of your music on a show called Bubble Pop Elec-Trick 9-11pm SAT Nights on JOY 94.9. And while playing the sensational Wired for sound - I had so many listeners calling to find out more details, it was really cool that a song from back then is still loved and raised so much interest...
anyway - love your work, and love playing your tunes...
you go you good things...

Into the Music
Tuesday 06 June 2006
Learnt of b(if)tek from the Into the Music download on 20/5/06.
I really connected with your relationship to your synths, especially the Roland VP330 which I've used on 100's of gigs since buying it in 1980 and its never let me down. I've a mixed bag of gear from 30 years as a musician but my old analog gear is most dear to my heart. my wife has instructions that if anything happens to me I'm to be buried with my EMS VCS3 and ARP 2600. I'll be out to buy some CDs and spread the word.
Cheers.

GREAT MUSIC, I LOVE IT, I'd listen to it more often if I could get a hold of such rare items, but as of right now its all in my head. :)

I've been looking for that vinyl EVERYWHERE. this is intriguing. I hear it's been sourced from a Siberian vinyl hoarder, whose lair was recently discovered in an underground cave network and his giant collection returned to their former owners. Makes sense. Hey, I'm gonna race you to the t-shirts. Anyone know what colour/style they are?

Projects for Rainy Day - Best track ever
Thursday 04 August 2005
OK, I'm kicking off best biftek track of all time voting with Projects on Frequencies. I love that track. It's like a Moog mucking about in a holiday house with a lego set. Second fave goes to We Think Your Dishy - don't know if anyone agrees, but it's still such a goddamn classic. No idea why it didn't become an intergalatic number one with a bullet. Just had to say it.

'I heard a rumour..'
Wednesday 27 July 2005
Oh yes. This is a good 'un. Apparently Kate from Biftek has a remix from her new project coming out soon of the awesome Dsico!! Two of my top artists brought together in beautiful harmony. I am going to pee my pants when this baby comes out.

Howdy. You can get 2020 and Frequencies Will Move Together at www.chaosmusic.com.au. Just search for: b(if)tek .

I'm yet to find their first CD, Sub-vocal Theme Park anywhere. Which is a shame. I remember when it was released and recall seeing it in a shop in Melbourne called Peril. I ummed and ahhed at the time, not really knowing who these ladies were. My loss... :-(

You Lovely Twosome
Friday 29 April 2005
It must have been mid-2000 when I saw you two perform at Syrup in Hobart as part of your 'We Think You Are Dishy' tour. It was the first time I had ever been to a dance/electronic act and it sparked my love affairs with all things dance related.

Thank you so much girls!
